На 15 май 2024 година, Професионалната гимназия по механоелектротехника и електроника (ПГМЕЕ) в Бургас беше горд домакин на Регионалната среща на училищата посланици на Европейския парламент, организирана от Бюрото на Европейския парламент. Целта на срещата беше да се даде възможност на участниците в Програмата да се опознаят, да споделят въпроси, които ги вълнуват, да надградят знанията си по европейски теми. Събитието събра около 80 младши и старши посланици от осем училища в регионите на Айтос, Бургас и Карнобат, които активно дискутираха и се обучаваха по актуалните въпроси, свързани с Европейския съюз и европейските избори.Срещата беше открита тържествено от г-н Теодор Стойчев, ръководител на Бюрото на Европейския парламент в България, който поздрави всички участници и подчерта значението на младежкото участие в европейските избори. Събитието продължи с интерактивно опознаване на младши посланиците, което създаде основа за по-нататъшната работа и сътрудничество между участниците.Програмата на срещата включваше разнообразие от модули и творчески работилници, които предизвикаха участниците да размишляват и да споделят своите идеи по ключови въпроси за Европейския съюз.Модулът „Актуални въпроси за Европа“ започна с дигитална викторина на тема „Какво знаем за европейските избори?“, модерирана от младшите посланици на Професионалната гимназия по компютърно програмиране и иновации в Бургас. Участниците показаха своите знания и научиха нови факти за предстоящите избори.Проф. д-р Ингрид Шикова, експерт по европейска интеграция и политики на ЕС, катедра „Европеистика“ в СУ „Св. Климент Охридски“, представи лекцията „Обединена Европа – мисия възможна“. Тя разгледа предизвикателствата и постиженията на Европейския съюз, вдъхновявайки младите посланици да продължат да работят за обединена Европа.
След лекцията последва дискусия на тема „Европа в моя поглед“, в която проф. д-р Ингрид Шикова и г-н Теодор Стойчев отговориха на въпросите на аудиторията. Дискусията предизвика активен обмен на идеи и мнения за бъдещето на Европа.Младшите посланици на Професионалната гимназия по механоелектротехника и електроника, Средно училище „Никола Вапцаров“ в Айтос и Средно училище „Христо Ботев“ в Айтос представиха театрални етюди „Европейски диалози“, създадени от Ингрид Шикова. Етюдите показаха разнообразни аспекти на европейската интеграция и ценности, като ангажираха участниците в жив диалог и размисъл.
Следобедната програма включваше шест творчески работилници, модерирани от младши посланици от различни училища. В тези работилници участниците бяха разделени на подгрупи и работиха по разнообразни теми, свързани с европейските избори, европейските ценности и бъдещето на Европа.

Работилница 2: Нашите европейски депутати – ГЛАСУВАЙТЕ!Модерирана от младшите посланици на Професионалната гимназия по строителство, архитектура и геодезия „Кольо Фичето“ в Бургас, работилницата предизвика участниците да формулират приоритетите на своите партии и да издигнат кандидати за европейските избори.
Работилница 3: Изкуственият интелект в образованиетоМладшите посланици на ПГМЕЕ-Бургас модерираха работилница, посветена на влиянието на изкуствения интелект в образованието. Участниците анализираха ИИ като генератор на идеи, ИИ в помощ на ученици и учители, а също и авторските права, правата на човека и етичните аспекти на изкуствения интелект.
Работилница 4: Да дебатираме за европейските избориНемската езикова гимназия „Гьоте“ в Бургас организира работилница, в която учениците дебатираха по различни въпроси, свързани с участието в европейските избори. Дебатите насърчиха критичното мислене и уменията за аргументиране.
Работилница 5: Европейските ценности в училищеМодерирана от младшите посланици на Средно училище „Христо Ботев“ в Айтос, тази работилница разгледа как европейските ценности се утвърждават в училище и как те могат да бъдат защитавани ежедневно.
Работилница 6: За устойчива ЕвропаСредно училище „Христо Ботев“ в Карнобат организира работилница, в която учениците обсъждаха кръговата икономика, екологосъобразния растеж и устойчивото развитие. Работилницата насочи вниманието към екологичните предизвикателства и ролята на младите хора в опазването на околната среда.
Докато младшите посланици работеха в творческите работилници, старшите посланици участваха в паралелна дискусия на тема „За активност на европейските избори 2024“. Модератори на дискусията бяха д-р Красимира Василева, експерт обучител, и проф. д-р Ингрид Шикова, експерт по европейска интеграция.
Срещата завърши с представяне на резултатите от работата на екипите в шестте творчески работилници. Всеки екип представи своите идеи и предложения, които предизвикаха жив интерес и дискусии сред участниците. Презентациите показаха креативността и ангажираността на младите хора с бъдещето на Европа.На финала на срещата, г-жа Румяна Георгиева, от името на г-жа Желева – директор на ПГМЕЕ-Бургас, приветства всички участници и изрази своето възхищение за активното им участие и иновативните идеи, които споделиха, и благодари на организаторите за гласуваното доверие за домакинството на такова събитие.
