Всяка година в последната сряда на февруари отбелязваме международния Ден за борба с училищния тормоз. Тази инициатива започва през 2007 г., когато две момчета в Канада застават зад гърба на свой приятел и съученик, който бил тормозен, защото дошъл на училище с розово поло. Дейвид Шепърд и Травис Прайс купуват розови тениски и на следващия ден раздават на всички в училище, които искат да подкрепят тормозения ученик. А те се оказали много…Поуката е, че дори само двама души биха могли да сътворят чудото на промяната, а сега си представете какво можем да постигнем заедно…
За поредна година в Механото се организираха инициативи, с които беше отбелязан Денят на розовата фланелка. За да напомнят за истинския смисъл на Розовата фланелка, рамо до рамо застанаха младшите посланици на Европейския парламент от ПГМЕЕ, подкрепени от старшите посланици г-жа Демирева и г-жа Бъчварова, Ученическият съвет към гимназията, ръководен от г-жа Бедрова, както и учениците от випуск 8 клас и випуск 10 клас и техните класни ръководители. Съвместната екипна работа на различните звена на училището спомогна да се постигне много по-голяма гласност на събитието.
По традиция учениците от осмите класове, сред които са част от младшите посланици и членовете на УС, направиха плакати с различни послания и, разбира се, с Розовата фланелка. Освен надписите на български език този път послания бяха изписани и на много други езици, с което символично беше изразено обединението около общата цел – „Без тормоз в училище”.
Ученическия съвет, посланиците на ЕП и учениците от 10 клас се погрижиха да създадат подходяща атмосфера във фоайето на гимназията за провеждането на дейностите, предвидени за деня. Беше обособено специално място с фон за снимки, от които в последствие ще се създаде колаж, а в другия край на фоайето ентусиасти се „поизцапаха”с розова боя, но оставиха своя отпечатък в битката срещу тормоза. На входа на училището ученици и учители бяха закичвани с розови панделки в знак на солидарност. Посланиците обясняваха на своите съученици защо е толкова важно да кажем „Не на тормоза”, как той нарушава човешките права и колко по-добре ще е за всички да сме единни и да зачитаме личността на всеки.
Поради особената ситуация, свързана с Ковид – 19, не всички ученици се обучават присъствено, но беше помислено и за тях. Владислав Генчев от 9б клас подготви тематична презентация, която беше разпространена до всички класове и също така беше прожектирана във фоайето на ПГМЕЕ.
С това обаче не приключиха дейностите ни, посветени на противодействието на тормоза. На следващия ден (25.02.2021г.) се проведе онлайн среща с представители на Асоциация „Деметра”, които запознаха учениците от випуск 10 клас с различните аспекти на кибертормоза, как да го разпознаем и как да реагираме на него. В хода на срещата се разиграха и казуси, в които младшите посланици на ЕП взеха активно участие. След срещата с Асоциация „Деметра” младшите посланици имаха за задача да разяснят на своите съученици какво прави ЕС, за да осигури защита срещу кибертормоза.
За нас като посланици на ЕП и граждани на Европа е важно да се изправим срещу всяка форма на тормоз и незачитане на човешките права и да се борим за тях. Отбелязването на Деня на розовата фланелка ни напомня, че тормоз в училище съществува, но ни показва, че има как и можем да му се противопоставяме всеки ден.
