Европейската комисия, с подкрепата на Националните агенции на страните членки на Европейския съюз, обяви стартирането на нова европейска инициатива – Ден на европейските автори. Тя ще се проведе за първи път на 27 март 2023 г. и след това ежегодно – в последния понеделник от месец март, за да насърчава четенето, най-вече при младите хора.
Европа винаги е била сред основните движещи сили на световната култура, а литературното наследство на Стария континент е силно доказателство в тази посока. Голяма част от книжните класики, които познаваме днес, са родени от умовете и перото именно на европейски автори.
За да отбележим Деня на Европейските автори в ПГМЕЕ, бяхме подготвили интересни дейности. От нашето ковчеже със скъпоценности всеки в гимназията си изтегли свитък с откъс от произведение на европейски автор. След това в часовете ние, младшите посланици на ЕП, гостувахме на класовете, за да представим празничния ден и неговата цел, а накрая поканижме желаещите да участват във верижно четене на откъсите, които по-рано изтеглиха и да сглобят частите в едно цяло.
Беше интересен и забавен ден, но и полезен, изпълнен с четене. Със сигурност ще го включим в нашия календар с празнични дни.
