Екипът от посланици на ЕП към ПГМЕЕ – Бургас отбеляза Световния ден на Земята – 22 април. Беше организирана среща с представител на Екопак – д-р Росица Попова . Идеята за срещата се роди като продължение на темата за рециклирането и Зеления пакт, която засегнахме още през м. март и е една от приоритетните теми както за нашия екип, така и за Европейския съюз. Д-р Попова изнесе интересна лекция по темата, след това се проведе дискусия между нея и посланиците. Бяха представени дейностите на екипа посланици, с които бе отбелязан Деня на рециклирането. Д-р Попова остана изключително впечатлена от ревюто на рокли от рециклирани торби.
На срещата освен посланиците на ЕП присъстваха инж. Роза Желева – Директор на ПГМЕЕ, и учители от гимназията. В края ѝ д-р Попова предостави презентацията от срещата и младшите посланици запознаха с нея своите съученици. Като допълнение към инициативата по отбелязване на Деня на Земята младшите посланици подготвиха плейлист с песни, които засягат важни теми, и той бе пускан от тонколоните в коридорите на гимназията по време на междучасията.
