Ето защо е нужно те да бъдат защитени.Чували сме за евентуалните последици от злоупотребата с лични данни и трябва да се замислим, че е възможно да се случи и на нас. Ето защо трябва да сме отговорни към личните си данни и да ги защитаваме, а ключът към това е повишената инфрмираност.
През 2018 г. Съвета на ЕС и Европейския Парламент се споразумяват за Регламент относно боравенето с лични данни. Новите правила са съобразени с Общия регламент за защита на данните (GDPR), който влиза в сила в България от 25.05.2018 г. Цел на Регламента е да гарантира защитата на личните данни на всеки човек.
На 28 януари се отбелязва Международния ден за защита на личните данни. По този повод младшите посланици на ЕП от Механото, ръководени от техните старши посланици, изработиха презентация, с която да информират своите учители и съученици за това кои лични данни се събират и обработват, кои са чувствителните ни лични данни, как да защитим данните си и какви права имаме.
Младшите посланици представиха презентазията на своите класове, а благодарение на партньорството им с Ученическия съвет на ПГМЕЕ тя достигна и до останалите паралелки на гимназията. Така инициативата се превърна в информационна кампания за цялото Механо.
